- To Open a Mercedes A Class bonnet, you need to locate the bonnet release lever. The lever is on the driver’s side and it is usually located next to the door.
- The second step is to pull the bonnet release lever. When pulling the lever you should be able to hear a clicking sound. The bonnet should then be slightly elevated, this means that the bonnet is unlocked and ready to open.
- Locate the release latch in front of the car. Some Mercedes models have this on the grill of the car, others have it inside the bonnet in the middle right near the front edge. Once the latch is located, pull it and the bonnet will fully release and open.
- The last step is to lift the bonnet all the way up and use the bonnet strut to hold the bonnet.
