Do I need a tv licence for Netflix?
There is no need to hold a TV Licence to watch Netflix shows on demand. A TV Licence is only required if you are watching TV services such as Sky, Virgin, Freeview, Freesat.

Some other live streaming services may require a TV licence. For example, YouTube does not normally require a TV Licence but if you watch live events you must hold a TV Licence. If you already pay for a TV Licence and intend to only watch shows on Netflix, you can cancel your TV Licence and let the TV Licensing agency that you are exempt because you don’t watch anything that requires a licence.
